In India, digital signatures are used in many e-Governance applications like online filing of Income Tax Returns, the formation of companies and their compliances, e-Tendering, etc.

Generally, in India, two types of DSCs:
Class 2 DSC
Class 3 DSC
Documents Required for DSCs:
Class 2 DSC (Mobile Number linked with Aadhar) Class 2 DSC (Mobile Number not linked with Aadhar) Class 3 DSC

If mobile number is linked with Aadhar:

  • XML file downloaded from Aadhar related site.
  • Mobile Number linked with Aadhar.
  • Email Address.
  • OTPs as and when required.

If mobile number is not linked with Aadhar:

  • Photocopy of PAN Card.
  • Photocopy of Aadhar Card.
  • Two Photographs of applicant.
  • Mobile Number.
  • Email Address.
  • OTPs as and when required.
  • PAN card and Aadhaar card of both applicants.
  • PAN card of the Firm or Company.
  • GST registration certificate.
  • Latest ITR acknowledgement of firm or company.
  • Partnership Deed / MOA- AOA.
  • E-mail address and Mobile number.
  • Video (sample will be provided).
  • Duly filled form.
